Damn! No real limited ammo in vehicles. There is a limited ammount of rounds to shoot but those regenerate in certain time.

Anyway for people who hasn't looked info:
On this PreAlpha:
Commander mode: separate mode, can be played with tablets and commander is useful after both teams has catched 1 flag. And seemed like Commander is separate, meaning in 64 slots server thre is 64+2.
Battlerecorder: now they have 3 different choices, one being free mode, 2nd being player to player mode.
Counterknifing: from front only atm.
In Shanghai map, one skycraper building can be totally destroyed, after that environment changes: a lot of dust and garbage, hard to see etc.
Swimming: fast swimming, can dive and shoot with pistol.
Weapons have 2 scopes, normal one and with Zoom.
5 persons in squad (confirmed).
New suppression: lmg supports giving higher suppression (long distance effect) and other classes gives less suppression (close quarter fights).
In that alpha, seemed like there is 2 different type of medics, one with medic kits only (assault class) and one with defibrilators (support class). But Im not sure about this yet, but looked like this.
Graphics looked awesome, but I think they might need a fast computer/graphic card for that.
Sound effects were better than in BF3.
From battlerecorder they said this is first implementation that it can be changed as other things too, they are listening now alpha testers and changing what is needed so some things seem here might not be exactly same as in final product but this looked great really.

Yes, when it shot all rounds it were approximately 5sec without ammo. Only good thing were that it regenerates only one round at a time. Would be much better with actual limited ammo. If there is lot of people looking for limited ammo and they complain to DICE about it, then we have possibility to affect the final solution. Razz

Idk how I feel about that full mag reload. Sure, it adds "realism" to the game but it's not like we're buying this because we secretly all are ArmA fans.

Option 1: Constantly run out of ammo
Option 2: Die because you didn't have enough in your mag to take out the 2 guys around the corner.

Hoping they change that piece tbh. Guess they're trying to force each squad to have a support with them but.. damn it. Just look at how many people in the E3 livestream are constantly running around completely out of ammo.

Not sure but I think that I saw tank in main base and it didn't have health bar. When it came away from the base, health bar appeared to the player info. Maybe there is protected base so baseraping is not possible? :B

Hope not, because it means people shooting from base, not getting killed etc.
They have to do it an old fashion way, meaning report to admin programs where people are located in the map.

Early comments of Alpha: Sun is not as disturbing as on BF3 but still client side hit detection: meaning you will still die behind of the corners.

No mod support on BF4. 
(According to some alpha testers, at alpha they can choose spawnpoint with crosshair from map, we will see is this feature coming to beta or full product.)
