M16 suppression bug?

Found this while browsing reddit:

What the stats say is that hippfire with M16 gets no suppression and aimed fire gets 0.5, the rest of the guns get 1.5 both cases. From reading a bit further in the thread can I see that it supposedly affect both A3 and A4 since they are the same gun in the code except for firing mode.

Apparently DICE does know about it https://twitter.com/Demize99/status/242642869490421760 but can not include a fix in Armoured Kill as that have progressed too far for new code.

Have anyone noticed this? It came as news to me and now do I feel worse fore using it in clan-wars...

Hope they fix it on tomorrow's patch, and no I haven't noticed that.

Easy to notice in hectic public action compared to other weapons. Now I understand even more why people use it in game.

Maybe it should be added to banned weapons for clan wars? Until it is fixed.

Yeah maybe, but well, its not banned by ESL, so we will allow it...
Even we do not follow ESL rules, I think banning m16 would make a lots of comments in opponent. But you can talk with it with clanwar opponents?
Anyway it will be a bit nerfed now, but not fixed.
